Cutting Edge Networks was founded in 1999 by Shawn Schnitker. Shawn is a decorated US Marine Corps Veteran and Idaho native. After working in the telecommunications industry for nearly 10 years, Shawn found a niche' in the marketplace for such a mobile service. Computer users were tired of disconnecting their PC's and dragging them to the repair shop. Needless to say, uncomfortable with the entire process. When people discovered this type of mobile service was available, word spread quickly. Advertising wasn't used until 2003 when Shawn wanted to expand the business. Word of mouth was the primary form of marketing. The original mobile trailer was 12' long with minimal equipment. A second trailer was soon added to accommodate up to 6 PC's on it's benches. With new customers coming on board each day, the clientele has rapidly grown and the business has grown exponentially.

Cutting Edge Networks now operates in the heart of Boise to more conveniently accommodate our customers with a full-time staff of 5 technicians, an A/V systems installer, commercial CableOne internet installation team, and full-time Office Manager. Our success is based on simple fundamentals that we genuinely believe in and honor; Treat each customer as a person, not a number, and secondly, give them the service they came for. We have learned that people don't want the run-around like they consistently get when dealing with a global company. We simply address them as a "human being" and take care of their needs avoiding all the red tape!
